We understand that many of our parents work and have pre-school children.  Over the last 6 years we have run a pre-school on site for children aged between 2 and 5.  Since January 2004, we have also provided a Breakfast Club and an After School Club for children aged between 4 and 11.

We have a qualified, experienced and motivated staff team and have obtained lottery funding for a wide range of outdoor educational equipment.  We have places for 45 children at our Breakfast and After School Clubs as well as places for 21 children at our pre-school.

We engender the School’s values at Stepping Stones at an early age and educate our children through play, craft and sporting activities.  We recognise and value all children’s differences at Stepping Stones whilst treating them with equal concern.

At our Clubs, we organise a programme of play activities that will enable all children to participate if they wish to. We provide snacks and drinks appropriate to individual children’s dietary and cultural needs and our children are asked to take a major role in making the rules within both the Breakfast Club and the After School Club.
